What does severance pay administered by CoopeJudicial guarantee?

Regardless of the length of service, you will receive the full amount of employer contributions made from the moment severance pay administration with the Cooperative begins, regardless of employment termination.

Protection

This includes protection of the installments or amounts administered through severance pay, regardless of the cause of employment termination.

The employer contribution rate is 2.33% monthly to CoopeJudicial.

Benefits of administering your severance pay with CoopeJudicial

As a member of CoopeJudicial and an employee of the Judicial Branch, you enjoy the benefit of free severance pay administration*.

No mandatory additional savings

You are not required to make additional savings with a mandatory percentage.

Annual returns

You earn annual returns on the administration of your severance pay, which you may withdraw starting February of each year.

Total payment guaranteed

You have the right to receive the accumulated severance pay amount in the event of resignation or dismissal, with or without employer responsibility.

No limit in years

You will receive 100% of the accumulated administered amount with no cap on years. Even if you exceed the 8 to 12 years threshold (depending on your entry date into the Judicial Branch), severance pay administered by the employer will continue to be calculated for payment up to 8 or 12 years, as applicable based on your entry date into the Judicial Branch.
