Funds
Direct Mutual Aid Fund
The Direct Mutual Aid Fund is a benefit granted to the beneficiary of a deceased member.
The amount granted to the beneficiary(ies) is ₡3,000,000.
It applies when the member has been affiliated with the Cooperative for more than 6 months and meets the requirements established by CoopeJudicial:
National ID of the deceased member
National ID of the beneficiaries
Death certificate stating the cause of death
Benefit request letter
Completed medical records review form
Completed INS claim request form

Indirect Mutual Aid Fund
The Indirect Mutual Aid Fund is a benefit applicable to members with more than 6 months of affiliation to the Cooperative.
It covers family members by blood relation (parents, siblings, spouse, and children up to 18 years old, or up to 25 years old if they are studying or have a special condition).
The claim must be submitted after the date of death and no later than one year afterward. The amount granted to the beneficiary depends on the member’s length of affiliation with the Cooperative.
The required documents to apply for the benefit are:
National ID of the member and the deceased family member
Death certificate clearly stating the cause of death
Birth or marriage certificate, as applicable
Benefit request letter
Sworn declaration

Personal Cyber Insurance
This product is designed to address Cyber Risks, which include crimes involving fraud, identity theft, and financial loss through digital access.
This insurance provides worldwide coverage, with zero deductible, and two coverage options:
Gold Plan: coverage of up to $1,350,000 per person per year
Includes: Identity theft - Electronic theft - Theft of funds - Online purchase fraud - Annual assistance events
Monthly premium: ₡1,713.05
Platinum Plan: coverage of up to $1,890,000 per person per year
Includes: Identity theft - Electronic theft - Theft of funds - Online purchase fraud - Cyber extortion - Hardware replacement - Fraud by financial institutions
Monthly premium: ₡2,516.04

Unemployment Protection Insurance
The Unemployment Protection Insurance aims to provide financial support in the event the insured person loses their job and is unable to generate regular income to meet their credit obligations. It covers the monthly loan installment while the insured is unemployed.
Basic Coverage
Dismissal without employer responsibility
Extended temporary disability due to illness or accident (after 60 consecutive days)
No deductible
Maximum coverage period of 12 months
Applies only to salaried employees registered with the CCSS with more than 4 months of service with the same employer
A 2-month waiting period applies before submitting a claim
The first installment covered corresponds to the loan installment
Applies only to active salaried individuals between 18 and 65 years old, for all credit lines except bonified and back-to-back loans
Individual Policies
The quotation and issuance of policies for vehicle, fire, and life insurance are processed through the Insurance Brokerage in force at the time of issuance.
CoopeJudicial manages the premium deduction and payment to the corresponding insurer
Coverage depends on what the member selects
Claims are filed directly with the insurer
Payment is made through monthly payroll deduction
